White Ibis (Eudocimus albus) coming home to roost
A common bird of the deep south in the USA, White Ibis feeds on small insects, fish and crustacea. They are sometimes found in mixed groups with Glossy Ibis. Ibis are tactile feeders; sensing prey with their long beak before seizing it. They roost in large colonies, sometimes with other species such as Wood storks or egrets.Add to Cart Add to Lightbox
